"We Are Here. We Are The Future."

"To promote awareness of, and foster respect for, the histories and heritages of the sovereign nations of California."

Our Mission

"To promote awareness of, and foster respect for, the  true authentic histories, traditions, and cultural heritages of California's sovereign nations from the Native perspective."

Our Vision

"To  make accessible the true authentic histories and heritages of California's sovereign nations, as told to us, and globally share through our documentary and exhibition work, implementation of our culturally based Native STEAM education and curriculum, the literary and visual arts, and innovating technology for the benefit of all."

Land Acknowledgement

"We acknowledge the land on which we are located is the ancestral territory of the Maara’yam (Serrano), represented by the Yuhaaviatam clan, "People of the Pines," of San Manuel Band of Mission Indians and Morongo Band of Mission Indians. At all times, we remain dedicated  to collaborating with our tribal elders, historians, and cultural bearers to disseminate only an authentic and accurate history of California's First Peoples, in their words. "

"Just listen to the birds...they tell you all you need to know..."

-  Late tribal elder, Robert Levi (Cahuilla)
